Fitting and correct positioning

Use the boil-and-bite fitting method only if it is explicitly approved for this ERGO SIRIUS model in the enclosed manufacturer instructions. As this is a multi-layer product, never apply the fitting times or temperatures of a different mouthguard.

1. Read the complete product-specific instructions before first use; check the mouthguard and mouth for damage or other issues.
2. If heat moulding is expressly permitted, prepare the water exactly as specified. Heat the mouthguard using a suitable utensil; never heat it in the mouth.
3. Observe the specified heating duration. Make sure the mouthguard has cooled sufficiently to avoid burns before insertion.
4. Centre the softened mouthguard over the upper teeth. Bite down gently and shape it using the fingers, lips and tongue as instructed by the manufacturer. Do not bite through the material.
5. Set the shape in cold water as directed and check the fit.
6. The mouthguard should remain securely and comfortably in place on the upper jaw without gagging or interfering with breathing. If it fits poorly, stop using it; remould only if permitted or replace it.
