Safety Instructions

MMA gloves are intended exclusively for training and competition in appropriate combat sports.

• Combat sports inherently involve a risk of injury. No glove can completely prevent injuries.
• Before each use, inspect the gloves for damage, open seams, tears, deformation or worn fasteners.
• Do not use damaged or excessively worn gloves.
• Always choose the correct size and ensure a secure fit. The hook-and-loop wrist closure must be fully and securely fastened.
• The gloves should not excessively restrict finger movement or cause pressure points.
• Use only in accordance with the rules of the respective sport, event or governing body.
• During training and sparring, use additional protective equipment appropriate to the type and intensity of training.
• Due to their compact padding, 4 oz competition gloves provide less cushioning than conventional training or boxing gloves and are therefore not suitable for every type of sparring.
• Children and young athletes should use combat sports equipment only under the supervision of a qualified trainer.
• Do not modify the gloves, wrist closure or padding.

Important: Injuries cannot be completely ruled out even when the gloves are used correctly.

Care Instructions

To help maintain the genuine leather, padding and wrist closure in good condition for as long as possible:

• After every use, allow the gloves to air out and dry completely.
• Do not store damp gloves in a closed sports bag.
• Clean the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
• Do not machine wash.
• Do not soak in water.
• Do not use aggressive detergents, bleach or solvents.
• If required, apply a suitable genuine leather care product sparingly. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
• Do not dry on radiators, with a hair dryer or in strong direct sunlight.
• Store at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated place.
• Keep the hook-and-loop fasteners closed whenever possible when the gloves are not in use.
